It was the usual Friday night and we have nothing else better to do then to watch movies. So that's exactly what we did. We went to Alamanda to see Bolt. Basically it's a story about a reality tv show dog stumbles to the real reality for very the first time. every second of the movie is filled with adventures. What I like the most is the characters in the film. it makes me wanna have them all as pets in all their cute ways. The character I probably like the most is Mittens the alley cat. Mein said that the hamster, Rhino looks and acts like me. She said Rhino's chuckles are like mine.... whatever... the story is very compelling thanks to John Lasseter, the producer who had a major influence on the production. In addition, the story is about friendship and love which make it a fun movie for both the old and the young generations. I would recommend you guys to watch this funtastic film!


Bolt it's like The Truman Show.. the main character, Jim Sarrey never been before stepped into the real world..

Owh, after that, we went back to cyberia... to watch the most anticipated movie this trimester.. at least for mein and me, which is SAW V.
damn it's gory and nasty... but we liked it... a lot!

3 budak sengal : Mural Project

i should've post this a long time a go, there was some complications, so here is it.

3 budak sengal consists of haziq, acap and yours trully (hehe)... i'll tell u guys more on the history of us later.. right now, i wanna report on our very first project : the hospital serdang pediatrics ward mural.

my beloved aunty is the head department of the pediatrics ward at hospital serdang. one day, haziq and i went to visit her. out of the blue, she told us "why dont you guys paint murals at my ward." it wasnt a done deal yet because it we're busy with assignments and what not. finally, near the end of the 1st trimester, i called her to closed the deal. we decided to do it right after the final exams. that means we have to stay back for awhile in cyberjaya. for this project, it was only haziq and i.

1st day (saturday, 18/10/08)

we went there after lunch. the first task we did was sketch our ideas on the wall based on the original idea we did in the computer. then there was a cute girl and a boy came to watch us. they really like the one we did in illustrator. we were even more thrilled to do this project. we didn't have to buy lot's of paints used by volunteers from previous projects. so that's it for the first day.

2nd day (sunday, 19/10/08)

we went to the hospital around 9.30 a.m... as soon as we arrived there, we went to take our working pass at the counter. when we arrived at the ward, many of the nurses, doctors and patients did know us yet. it was an awkward moment seeing them watching us. we went to the reading room to take all the paints and brushes to the wall. just as we started 'vandalizing' the wall, aisyah, the cute little girl came wearing a t shirt and track bottoms. she said she wanted to help. that's the most adorable thing! then her mom came and said to her only to watch. so what she did was took the original sketches in her hands and ordered us to paint exactly like that. yup, she's the boss. adam also came to watch us making us more and more happy to do our job.

3rd day (monday, 20/10/08)

as usual, around 9.30 we leaved for hospital serdang. that time, most of the people at the ward already recognize us. every once in awhile, there's always 'spectators'. some of the patients asked us the price of paiting a while room. they even enquired us where is the location of our office. it was quite amusing. we told them we're just university students. never the less, if we're free, we can do it. of all the 'spectators', aisyah and adam were our favourites as they stayed with us until we go back. our mural was almost finished. that afternoon, aisyah had been discharge from the hospital. we're very sad particularly me because i was so attached her. but there always adam to make us laugh with his crazy antics.



4th day (tuesday, 21/10/08)

today, we're all smiling as we only need to touch up here and there. we could finish it before lunch, but my aunty invited us to the hospital open house since it's still the festive month. after grabing a bite to eat. we hurried up to finish the mural. we finished the mural around 4.30 p.m. then we waited until mu aunty came to evaluate our work. to our relieve, she was very impressed with the whole thing. the idea and the fact that it was a 2-men job. fortunately, she was with a bunch of CUCMS students. my aunty used our mural to test their creativity. it's was flattering. after cleaning up the mess, my aunty took us to her office. ka-ching! it wasnt much, the experienced was worth it. period.

i sooo wanna update by blog... but... all of my card readers malfunctioned.. therefore i cant really transfer all the images from my camera... plus i didnt bring the cable to connect the camera to the PC. so i cant post anything that have to do with the images inside my camera.. so i got nothin!

unfortunately for me, i got myself a novel! my sisters and i went to borders the other day... there was a promotion buy 3 at the price of 2... actually i'm lending the book from her... yup, the book that i bought with my money! i mean my mom gave the money.. so technically made it my money.. right?

Max Payne... PAYNE TO THE MAX

After Flight of the living dead (i'm so glad we survived!), there's max payne...

it was thursday and we just finished our mandarin paper.. which meant that we are free of exams! just when we got back to our house, acap said that the movie max payne is out and that night was the opening night.. then i post my status saying that i'm watching max payne that night... suddenly from out of the blue, i heard a BUZZ!!! sound... it was wafi. he said that he's also going to watch max payne with izham (arm).. he's driving his car and voluntarily wanted to give us a lift... well, since i'm going with my car... so there's a couple of empty spaces... so i invited nad who then asked lana to joined us... but i was running late.. so i asked arm and wafi to buy the ticket first... acap, wan and haziq joined them in 1 car.. so in my car, there's lana, nad, mawi and me... so off we go..

we ate waffles, went to the arcade for awhile and so on and so forth... then it's time to watch the movie! yea! we were all excited especially mr action-thriller-horror, acap.. so here's my review of the movie payne to the max, i mean max payne... hehe

the first 45 minutes, i was lost and disoriented... it's hard to understand the storyline even if u played the game before... only a fraction of the game is used in the plot. i'm not gonna tell the storyline as most of u wanna watch it... there's also not many action scenes.. which is kinda turn off... cause that's what we came for... even acap was half awake watching the movie... they are some parts which have max payne shooting bad guys.. but that was just like a minute or two.. so u can imagine how disappointing it was for us all.. we thought it was like 18SG where there was brain spattering-gut busting- action scenes.. but it was rated-U(general)... even with the casting of top hollywood actors and actress like mark wahlberg, mila kunis, beau bridges, chris o'donnell, olga kurylenko and even ludacris cant make the movie more alive... this has to be the most boring, eyes-shutting. yawn-inducing, killing-me-softly kinda films you'd seen in the action genre. period!

well.. everybody is entitle to their own opinion and this is mine..

well.. this is the second consecutive times we watched two boring movies.. and it's all because of acap.. hehehe...

OU : mall of the living dead.. freaking lame

It was a Sunday night... it was blurry... then Haziq said that we should get out... his idea was to catch a movie... so Acap and me did a survey to see what's good out there to watch. I wanted to watch mamma mia.. I've been waiting for it since i can remember... knowing Acap, he's the type that like to watch all those action-thriller-horror kinda movie.. so there was "Flight of The Living Dead"... we thought it sounded catchy enough to caught our attention.. then, from out of the blue, Maher BUZZ!!! me... i told him the plan.. he said he wanted to join us... so i invited Lana and Nad to the 'party'! so the peeps were, Haziq, Acap, Maher, Nad, Lana, Wan, Mawi and me! by 9.30, we're set to leave for OU..

Maher drove his car and i drove mine... as we drove through the parking lot, we got separated.. thanks to maher for being an F1 driver that time! he went through the parking lot without waiting for us.. haha... so i parked at the rooftop at the old wing. It was only wan, haziq, nad, lana and me.

when the 5 of us got out of the lift, the jaya jusco was already sealed.. it was already 10.30.. no wonder... we went crazy looking for the entrance since all the main entrance were all closed.. thank god we stumbled upon a guard, and he said we have to go to the ground floor and enter the new wing from the main entrance of the new wing... when were 'lost' there, there was this chinese couple who were lost as well... there was this part where we were in and out at the very same place, haziq and me scared the hell out of the chinese couple by sneaking up on them using an opposite door..MUAHAHA...

that time, they was a lot of things running through my mind, i was fantasing! there was this movie titled 'REC'.. it's about a bunch of people trying to find a way out of an apartment building which is infested with zombies.. so i was fantasing that we're a bunch of people trying to find a way out from this mall which is already full of flesh-eating zombies! Nad was laughing histerically when i told her the idea... pfft.. you just laugh! wait til there ARE zombies luriking around.. then who's laughing now... hehehe...



finally we arrived at the new wing in one piece.. we survived! hahahah.... we went to the cinema and meet up with the rest... Wan bought 8 tickets to see "Flight of The Living Dead"...

the movie was freaking laaaammmmmeeee! booooorrriiinnng! damn! i cant believe i wasted 8 bucks to watch that crap!

the movie is about A flight from the U.S. to Paris contains some top-secret government cargo, and the doctors on the plane who are associated with the cargo are very nervous. When turbulence causes the cargo to pop open, the fun begins. Next thing you know ... zombies on a plane. Every potential plot twist is preceded by hints that a child could guess, and you should be able to figure out who will live the longest after the first 15 minutes. The scenes of crazed zombies overrunning the plane (and believe me, I am spoiling nothing by telling you this) are the best parts of the movie.

the movie has a lot of cliche... for instance.. there is this man who play golf who happens to carry his club.. that he uses to hit the zombies.. then the old pilot who said that this is his last flight.. cliche! there is also no witty one-liners that would make us remember about the movie... maybe that's the point!.. hehehe

after watching the movie like 30 minutes, we can tell which character is the hero... we we're all felt like leaving but we already paid 8 bucks.. better make it worthwhile... when it came to the part where almost half of the people in the plane we zombies and they were ripping the guts of other passengers.. it went from bad to worst.. we were all started to laugh! the way the zombies were killing, ripping, eating people was kinda funny and awkward that we can help it! the others in the cinema were also laughing! how come something that supposed to be scary/gory/horror became so stupid and funny?

in a nutshell... don't watch a movie with the title as cheesy as "Flight of The Living Dead"!.. :-P

aidilfitri : the old, the new and ...

it's been awhile since i last update my blog.. so this is it...

for the last day of fasting, i was already at my kampung which is kampung katub, lenggeng negeri sembilan, yeah! well, as usual, the whole family were busy cleaning the house, the compound.... some of us had to make 'rendang' and 'dodol'.. both are malay traditional food...



while we were cleaning the house.. we found a stack of old records belonged to my uncle, pak madin... there's a whole bunch of it and some of it he bought it back in the U.S ..... he said he wants to digitalize them all.. well, good for him...





then it was the first day of syawal! after the special eid prayer... we head back home to feast ourselves and entertain the guests... it was a kinda special raya this year as we welcome 3 new members of the hj wahab family tree. rayyan, harith, and mujahid, welcome to the family!..... there wasn't a picture of all of us as we were busy making satay and entertaining the guest... maybe next time...



it was sunday, and i already pack my stuff to go back to cyberia... i decided to leave after lunch. around 3 pm, rain started to pour heavily... thus making my butt very heavy to lift from the couch.. hehehe... so what the heck, i changed my mind. i'll wait til the rain stops... then we heard a loud bang! a lightning had struck a coconut tree then fell to a tnb's electric post... it blocked the road for quite some time. we made a few calls, but help were very late. so we decided to take the matter into our own hands.. muahahahaha...
