Yesterday was StarWars day! I know I'm not that much of a StarWars geek, but the saga will always be in my heart. Anyway, just a little info about me and StarWars;

The first StarWars movie I watched was The Empire Strikes Back. Back Then, I didn't understand a thing about the movie. The only I love was R2D2 and the whole part where Yoda is training Luke to become a Jedi. I hated the love hate relationship between Han Solo and Princess Leia.. Your name is Han SOLO for godsake! And lets not forget I was about 5 or 6 years old when I watched the VHS tape. So all those lovey dovey stuff was never in my interest. *evil laughs*

My favourite movie in the saga is definitely Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. No doubt. I love everything about it. Queen Amidala, Obi Wan, Qui Gon, Tatooine (where Anakin was raised), Pod Racing, etc. With that, I will let you guys listen to my all-time favourite track from The Phantom Menace OST, "Duel Of The Fates." Hands in the best fighting scene in the whole StarWars saga, hands down.

P.S. One time, I opened this track my car and let my friends listened to it. A trip to dinner feels like an adventure to another galaxy. It was EPIC! Right guys? *crickets sound*

I have to say guys, Les Copaque is setting the animation bar pretty high in Malaysia right now... What I really love are the textures in this story... I hope the storyline is good enough, so that not only kids can enjoy it, but young adult like me as well..

Founded at TheDailyWhat. It's a wedding invitation card. What?? Don't believe me? hahaah.. well you should and I simply adore it! If I ever get married *fingers crossed* I would love to have my wedding invitation just like this.. better yet, I would love to make one! 

It is claimed that this badaas invitation card was made by the groom itself Manuel Morgado (He may or may not be) who is in fact an illustrator.. and no I don't mean the software guys (LAME! *high pitch voice*). Even though it's a wedding.. something that we will always cherish it for the rest of our lives, depending on how we love our partners *giggles*.. it's always good to know not to take everything so seriously.. like using Monotype Corsiva-ish kinda typefaces on the wedding invitation card.. That to me IS taking things a lil bit serious.. hahaha..

This one goes to the future Mrs Kamil; Honey, can we have a wedding invitation card just badass as this one? Pretty pleaseeeeeeee with the cherry on top.. *puppy eyes*

Insyaallah my design will be more mature and presentable.. but guys.. I bet if you guys submit.. surely yours will be picked! I know.. cuz you guys are that damn good of a designer and artists than me..

Drawn into Drawing

When I'm bored.. I wanna hang out... when friends aren't available... I go back to what I used to be good at... DRAWING... I've been slacking in this particular skill for quite sometimes now.. I remember I used to draw characters from Dragon Ball... Until I was creative enough to create my own character and create a comic out of them. I'll try to list out all the comics that I have done..

*laughs* If only I can find all of them and show it to you guys...

Lets go back when I was in Primary school... whenever school finished, I always hang out in my mom's office... there I will always be by myself... so I took a pencil and a piece of printing paper.. and I started to draw... One day, she took one of my so called artwork and pinned it at the announcement board outside her office... When students came to her room for submission or consultation, they will always complimented at my drawings.. since then, I never stop drawing and paste them outside. They smiled... there was this sense of accomplishment.   

Besides finding pleasure in doing something I'm good at, I actually find myself changing in my comics. From comics filled with action and martial arts to romantic comedy, love, relationship and all that jazz... I can't help it.. hormon menggelegak! hahahahaa.... There was this one time, a teacher caught me drawing my comic. He quickly snatch it and kept it for awhile.. soon.. I saw him reading it... He laughed and he gave it back to me with a smile on his face. Again, I felt that sense of accomplishment. I guess that's what made me drive into Film and Animation. I wanna make people laugh. Unfortunately, sadly... that is what lacks in my work nowadays... sigh..

I have learned a hard lesson... I need to get my passion back in drawing even if I'm doing more 3D work than 2D work.. I have build my foundation again!
