Reminscing the Old Days

Back in the days, I watched a lot of cartoons.. and I mean a lot, 24/7... not just cartoon but all those kids' shows that aired every Saturday and Sunday... until I was 16, then only I slowed down..

Thinking about it now, how I wish I could go back being a carefree kid watching cartoons and play around with my peeps outside creating our own adventure climbing hills, going down the sewers (believe me) and even burn stuff.. hehe

So this post is tribute to all the tv shows that influence me alot during my childhood years..

I remembered watching Arthur every sunday morning when I was 10.. good times

Flashman... I was 4 back then.. I even bought a Flashman t shirt at the market

Cybercops... I think Cybercops it was aired when I was 8.. I love their suits!

Power Rangers (embedded was disabled)

You should be ashamed if you never watched Power Rangers before.. I never stop watching Power Rangers since I was in US.. even my ringtone is the theme song.. :)

Ultraman Taro... used to be my hero...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (embedded was disabled)

My interest when I was in US.. Michelangelo is my favourite character.

Super Human Cyber Squad.. I like the idea of fighting virus physically...

All I can say is.. AUTOBOTS! ROLL OUT!

Pokemon (embedded was disabled)

Gotta love Pikachu... but my favourite was Squirtle.. :)

last but not least is....

I love barney.. It really influence me a lot.. I remember.. there's this 1 episode where they teach you not to let the water run when you brush your teeth because it's wasting water... because of that particular song.. I never let the water run... part of song goes a little bit like this

"I'm brushing my teeth and it's so so fun,
but, I never let the water run"

enjoy life y'all! Peace and I'm out!

The New Trimester Look

I've been keeping my hair long for almost a year and a half... it's time to try something new.. hehe

owh.. besides that.. new roommates.. which was my housemates ; Mawi and Ikhwan

Drag me out of the Cinema.. bluergh

I thought I wanna start the new sem with a big bang.. so thought why not by watching Drag Me to Hell.. Ajwad and I were so exicted, then I talk mawi out to see that movie even though he doens't fancy horror flicks.. hehehe.. out of nowhere, Alia joined us even though she already seen the movie. she said there's a part she missed because she went to the toilet... nice excuse.. haha...

To tell you guys the truth.. it wasn't that good... T__T

I mean, some scene seems awkward and funny... I don't know whether to laugh or to scream.. there's a few frieght once in awhile but that's it... the movie emphasize on the sound effects.. ever heard of the term "I'm hearing things..".. well this movie really stands out in that direction.

There wasn't any gory scenes which I really love, instead there's this old granny which was so disgusting with her rotten prosthetic teeth, tons of green-yellowish slimy phlegm, spitting out maggots and all that is revolting to the eyes..bluergh!!! ( the sound she makes when she vomits).. XP

A very cheesy 80's horror if you ask me.. with classic cheesy dialogue. It doesn't seem natural to me.. some of the visual effects are kinda decent.. but the mechanical goat (I think) was too much for me.. come on.. it was so fake.. it scared the hell out of me... ya right! after awhile.. I was like "oh please drag me out of the cinema...".. XD

Well.. at least we had a few laughs and.. and there's this one scene where I jumped from my seat.. hahah.. Like I said.. there's not much of a horror except freight for awhile..

PS: looking forward to Transformer 2

Run for your life!!!! it's Monster VS Aliens...

Exams are over, the holiday starts off.. and so does movie nights!

so what can be more productive than watching a good movie during the holiday?

before we went back to our hometown... we went to Alamanda with Night at the Museum 2 in our mind...

much to our dismay, we were too late and the movie was fully book that very night... so we went on to our back up plan which in monsters vs aliens(MOV)... straight away I called Mein who was very to keen to watch it... and because of her, I have to go to her house and pick her up... pfft...

dont worry... it wasn't a problem mein...

anyways.. getting back on the movie

MOV was a blast... Dreamworks never fails too impress me since the Shrek trilogy..

I know this posting this will be pointless... but I wanna say that the voice over actors/actress really get into the characters especially Seth Rogen who played the oh so innocent BOB...

The heroine, Susan's direction was a bit blurry at the start.. maybe because the film didn't expose her enough about who she really is and how she perceives the world... but the texture of her skin is almost as a real human being... I felt like watching a real person...

just for the records... I watched MOV 3 times at the movies already and I ain't getting tired of watching.... heheh

Looking forward to my 2nd year in Film and Animation... life is hard as usual... got some issues I have to deal with.. just as long as I have my dudes... I'll manage...

The Queensbay Moment

So, as it turned out, the Capix-Kamil-Maya-Nadya Connections went out to Queensbay Mall... I was happy to have finally met my long lost friends... and the best part is.. there wasn't any awkward moments... we hang out like we it was all pure awesomeness...

Ate at Subway and watched Monster VS Aliens... again... and I've been meaning to do a humble review on it...

Unfortunately, we didn't get to hang out longer as someone has a curfew... right Nadya.. ooops... XD

pictures taken from Capix's FB.. hope u don't mind...

The Capix-Kamil-Nadya-Maya Connections

Sounds like an awfully cheesy band name right... well actually these 4 individuals are actually close friends now... thanks to FACEBOOK (FB)! it's true... and I shall tell u why...

Capix - I didn't know him until I was in MMU even though his school was practically neighbours to mine. ok, didn't have to do anything with facebook...

Nadya - She was my primary school classmate... I remember talking to her only after we got our UPSR results.. talk about being shy for over 2 years since I know at her that time.

Maya - She was an acquaintance from a tuition center we went to during form 5. We were not actually friends until SPM was finished and she worked at Secret Recipe where I would go there to meet her. thanks to all the brownies there, I'm this big nowadays...

After I got into MMU, I lost contact with Maya and Nadya... but then again I met Capix...

Thanks to FB, somehow I found them... turns out that Capix and Nadya are already close friends and Nadya and Maya just started to know each other in FB...

sorry I stole you guy's picture from FB... where else right... hehehe

we had rough times together... but most of the time, it was FUN!

we learned how to co-operate, love, understand with one another... ( you can't believe how gay I can be..)

never the less... this is not the end... it's just a stepping stone to a better, strong friendship!

Haziq - the comedian is in da house y'all!
